Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: St. Louis, MO

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Rotating Shifts as Needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PACU setting • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed • Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, including oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and heart rate • Perform various medical procedures, such as starting IVs and administering blood products • Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, including arrhythmias and bradycardias • Provide education and support to patients and families on post-operative care and recovery

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri • 2+ years of experience in a critical care or surgical setting • BLS and ACLS certifications • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or equivalent • Knowledge of dysrhythmia recognition and management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, and starting IVs

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in a PACU or critical care setting • Familiarity with ICP monitoring and care of ventilated patients • Experience with starting IV vasopressors and managing vasoactive medications • Strong communication and teamwork skills
