Registered Nurse Correctional
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Correctional
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to inmates in a correctional setting, including assessment, treatment, and management of medical conditions. • Conduct medical assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress. • Draw blood samples and perform other laboratory procedures as needed. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for inmates. • Float to other facilities as needed to support the delivery of medical services.
Required Qualifications: • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania. • Experience with medical assessment and treatment of inmates in a correctional setting. • Ability to draw blood and perform other laboratory procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working in a correctional facility or similar healthcare environment. • Knowledge of correctional health care policies and procedures. • BLS certification and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
