Key Responsibilities • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessments, treatments, and interventions • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans • Assist patients in developing daily living skills, such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation • Conduct home assessments to identify barriers to independence and develop strategies for improvement
Required Qualifications • Associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant studies from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) • Certification as an occupational therapy assistant (OTA) in the state of Washington • Current CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
