Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Richmond, VA

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown setting • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes • Read and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other monitoring devices to identify patient conditions and trends • Prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and make timely notifications to physicians regarding patient condition changes • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of VA • BLS and ACLS certifications • Telemetry experience and EKG reading skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown settings • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
