Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Location: Moab, UT Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience. • Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care plans. • Utilize aseptic and sterile techniques to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infection. • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during surgery. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications: • Current, unencumbered RN licensure in Utah or compact state • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing • Current BLS certification; current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Knowledge of surgical operation procedures • Prior experience in pre-op and/or PACU • Skilled in Pre-op, PACU, and Circulating all General, Ortho, & O.B. cases (C-sections!!) • Available to help in TRAUMA cases in the E.R.
