Registered Nurse Medical Surgical
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location Atlanta, GA Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of patients with complex medical and surgical needs. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to promote optimal health outcomes. • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information and communicate with healthcare teams. • Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and health promotion.
Required Qualifications: • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing. • Certification in a specialty area (e.g. Critical Care, Operating Room) preferred. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Epic. • Knowledge of spinal neuro trauma, gun shot wounds, quad and paraplegia care. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
