Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Location: Corpus Christi, TX Schedule / Job Type: Nights, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough assessments and documentation of patients in the Emergency Department • Administer medications and provide wound care as needed • Provide care for patients with ESI 4 & 5, and may assist with ESI 6 • Utilize cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and other equipment to provide high-quality patient care • Document patient information in Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications: • Level II or Level III trauma experience • TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS certification • Greater than two years of emergency department experience • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Preferred Experience / Skills: • CEN or TCRN certification • CPI certification • Experience with ESI 4 & 5 patients
