Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour nights
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of patients with GI conditions, blood loss and anemia, infections, renal patients, and surgical patients who have had GI surgery. • Manage patient care in a fast-paced unit with a high turnover rate of beds daily. • Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) such as PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR to document patient information and track progress. • Participate in code blue responses and other fast-paced situations. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Required Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. • 1 year of traveler experience required; unit will not accept 1st time travelers. • Current BCLS certification. • IV start certification preferred.
Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp: • Telemetry experience preferred.
