Tech IR/Special Procedures

Job Title: Travel - Tech - Interventional Radiology - IR Tech

Location: Summerville, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in accordance with facility policy, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with Hospital employees • Perform various special procedures, including but not limited to Kyphoplasty, Arteriogram, Nephrostomy, Biliary drains, Neuroendovascular procedures, embolization, coiling procedures, carotid stents, central line placement, chemoembolization, Y-90 procedures, fistulagrams, IVC filter placements and removals, and AVG declots • Utilize GE IGS 740 imaging equipment and Meditech documentation system

Required Qualifications:

• Must have Body IR experience • Must have Neuro IR experience • A R RT (R) certification • SCRQSA H certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Dress in required uniform of light blue scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Advanced skills in neuroendovascular procedures and interventional radiology • Experience with fluoroscopy and computed tomography (CT) scans • Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
