Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location: Livingston, TN Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles • Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans • Prepares and administers medications, records prescribed medications, and reports adverse reactions • Educates patients on surgical procedures and teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury • Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients and interprets electronic displays • Initiates corrective action for adverse symptomatology and participates in discharge planning • Utilizes time management skills and records care information concisely, accurately, and completely

Required Qualifications: • TN RN or multi-state compact license • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association • 2 years recent Med/Surg experience
