Job Title: School Counselor
Location: Newberry, FL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, part-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct student interactions, positive mental health support, and education to students in grades K-5th. • Foster a positive and relationship-focused school environment. • Collaborate with the district representative to ensure IEP and 504 documents are handled separately.
Required Qualifications:
• FL School Counselor certification • Ability to work on-site 7.5 hours/day for full-time or 6 hours/day for part-time
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working with students in grades K-5th • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
