Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Travel
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans • Perform various medical procedures, including those requiring advanced skills • Stay up-to-date with current medical knowledge and best practices
Required Qualifications: • 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required • Ability to work in a high-volume ED with over 100,000 visits per year • Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real-time
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or similar setting • HCA experience preferred • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
