Key Responsibilities: • Assess and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills • Conduct therapy sessions with patients of various ages and populations • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications: • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation software
