Key Responsibilities: • Assess and evaluate individuals with communication and swallowing disorders to develop personalized treatment plans • Design and implement evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing function • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal outcomes • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs to promote communication and swallowing skills in various settings • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications: • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution • Clinical certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with pediatric or adult populations with diverse communication and swallowing needs • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and devices • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and research in speech-language pathology
