Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location: Newton, MA Schedule / Job Type: Days
Key Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services to patients to help them develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address patient needs. • Implement occupational therapy interventions, such as adaptive equipment, modifications, and training. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications: • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric populations. • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
