Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs • Provide therapy sessions, including individual and group interventions, to help patients achieve communication goals • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems • Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software
