Therapist Speech Language Pathologist
Job Title: Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist
Location: New Bedford, MA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities: • Assess and evaluate individuals with communication disorders to develop treatment plans • Design and implement speech and language therapy programs to improve communication skills • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with patients of varying ages and needs • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Required Qualifications: • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution • State licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist • Certification in ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and documentation software
