Job Title: LVN / LPN - LTC/SNF

Location Boulder City, NV

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs total patient care services as directed, including measuring, evaluating, administering, and documenting patient care • Provides direction and assigns duties to Certified Nursing Assistants in accordance with their skills and abilities • Actively responds to patient, physician, and family requests and upholds Patient Rights and Patient Privacy • Administers medications, provides care management, and gives direct patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients • Monitors effects and side effects of medications and works with intravenous medications • Admits, transfers, and discharges patients as required and reports changes in condition to the RN and physician • Maintains accurate documentation, reporting, and in-depth nursing observation to assure continuity of patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Current licensure by the Nevada State Board of Nursing as an LPN • Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse Program • IV certification within one year of employment • Compliance with the State of Nevada’s Nurse Practice Act, Hospital policies, and rules/regulations

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility settings • Knowledge of hospital-wide order entry systems • Ability to lift, walk, carry, and stand • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
