Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Title: Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant Location Fayetteville, NC Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting, including assessments, treatments, and activities designed to promote independence and mobility. • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. • Implement adaptations and assistive technologies to enhance patient participation in activities of daily living. • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies from an accredited program. • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligibility for certification. • Valid CPR certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting. • Familiarity with state-specific regulations and guidelines for occupational therapy services. • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
