Special Education Teacher
Job Title: EC Teacher - Charter School - Part-time/Full-time Opportunities
Location Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type Part-time, Full-time, Contract
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in a pull-out model setting for grades K-4th • Develop and implement adaptive educational plans to meet the unique needs of each student • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and paraprofessionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
Required Qualifications:
• Valid teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (EC) or a related field • Experience working with students with special needs in a pull-out model setting • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with adaptive technology and educational software • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
