Registered Nurse LTC/SNF
Job Title: Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF Parkersburg, WV Nights Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various treatments. • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with families, and advocate for patients' rights. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of treatments, progress, and any changes in patient condition. • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in long-term care, continuing to educate and train staff on new techniques and technologies.
Required Qualifications • Current RN licensure in the state of WV • Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely
Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology • Knowledge of gerontology, geriatrics, and dementia care • BSN degree or equivalent experience
