Job Title: Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF

Location: Waterville, ME

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting, ensuring residents receive comprehensive medical attention and support. • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient needs. • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues. • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and implementing strategies to address these needs. • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health promotion, disease prevention, and management techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maine • Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic life support certification (BLS)

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems • Knowledge of gerontological nursing principles and practices • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
