Job Title: Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Location: Round Rock, TX

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities: • Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers • Analyze and interpret test results, identifying any abnormalities or anomalies • Communicate test results to healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and laboratory procedures • Participate in quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results

Required Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) • Current licensure as a Medical Technologist in the state of Texas • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare system • Knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic medical records • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals
