Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Title: Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant Location: Danbury, CT Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, contract

Key Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and implementation of interventions • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans • Assist patients in developing skills and abilities necessary for daily living and work-related activities • Conduct home visits and other community-based assessments to identify patient needs • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports

Required Qualifications: • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or equivalent • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTAS) or eligibility for certification • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks • Strong organizational and time management skills
