Registered Nurse PACU
Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating, 12 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), following established nursing standards and guidelines. • Recover patients from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes. • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient information and communicate with healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications:
• Current MA license as a Registered Nurse • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA • Flu vaccination required after 09/02
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Previous experience in a PACU or critical care setting • Knowledge of Epic EMR system • Strong communication and teamwork skills
