Registered Nurse PACU
Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU
Location Boston, MA
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating, 12 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting • Follow established protocols and guidelines for anesthesia recovery and post-operative care • Monitor and report patient status, including vital signs and anesthesia effects • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient transitions • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician
Required Qualifications: • Current Massachusetts (MA) licensure as a Registered Nurse • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA • Flu shot required after 09/02 • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience in a PACU or similar setting • Familiarity with Epic EMR system • Strong communication and teamwork skills
