Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Location: Nashville, TN Schedule / Job Type: Nights, 12 hours
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to women and newborns in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit • Conduct fetal monitoring, perform newborn resuscitations, and administer medications as needed • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care • Document patient information accurately and efficiently using the electronic medical record system • Participate in unit-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Required Qualifications: • Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification • ACLS certification • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience in Labor and Delivery or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) • Experience with electronic medical record systems • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
