Job Title: Registered Nurse - Infection Control

Location: Lawrence, MA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage infection prevention strategies in collaboration with the Infection Prevention Clinical Committee and Site Nurse Managers. • Identify, investigate, monitor, and report healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases. • Conduct ongoing staff development, training, and quality assurance performance improvement monitoring to ensure adherence with organizational standards, professional guidelines, and state and federal regulations. • Create, educate, and sustain infection prevention strategies through collaboration with teams and individuals. • Provide feedback and coaching to staff to improve infection control practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a basic training program for infection control and risk management. • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations and accreditation standards. • Certification in Infection Control is desired. • Ability to develop policies and procedures. • Ability to teach and evaluate clinical performance. • Collaboration, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. • Excellent communication skills (oral and written). • Ability to implement evidence-based guidelines. • Knowledge of data collection and analysis, report writing, and data presentation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in infection control or a related field. • Knowledge of infection control best practices and guidelines. • Experience with quality improvement initiatives. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
