Job Title: Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Location: Atlantic, IA

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and respond to, care rendered in the Obstetrics unit. • Apply sound nursing judgement in patient care management decisions to ensure high-quality care. • Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and direct/delegate to healthcare team members as needed. • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and healthcare team members about patient plans of care. • Participate in performance improvement, nursing quality, and research activities to improve clinical practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa. • Current BLS certification. • Basic life support skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in Obstetrics or Med/Surg nursing. • Familiarity with electronic medical records and hospital systems. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
