Registered Nurse NICU
Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU Location: San Diego, CA Schedule / Job Type: Rotating
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced NICU environment • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians • Monitor and maintain patient vital signs, including oxygen saturation, heart rate, and blood pressure • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Required Qualifications:
• Current CA License • 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience • Cardiac experience • BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain) • Experience with oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Strong surgical experience from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns • Experience with line changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care • Willingness to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses
