Registered Nurse - NICU
Location San Diego, CA
Schedule / Job Type Rotating
Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced NICU environment • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient progress • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications • Current RN licensure in the state of California • 2+ years of recent experience in a Level 4 NICU • Advanced NRP and BLS certification • Preferred: PALS certification, Level 3 surgical experience, and strong first-time traveler skills
Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, and other specialized equipment • Familiarity with line changes, pre and post-op care, and specialty gases • Ability to float between units, including PICU, CVICU, and NICU satellite campuses
