Tech MRI
Job Title: Tech - MRI
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule / Job Type: Mids (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), 14:00-00:00
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer contrast media for MRI procedures • Perform isolation precautions and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients • Operate MRI equipment, including 1.5T and 3T machines, to produce high-quality images • Conduct various MRI procedures, such as abdominal and cardiac imaging • Maintain accurate records and charts using Epic system
Required Qualifications:
• BLS certification • ARRT MR and ARRT R certifications • 2+ years of experience in MRI technology (2+ years for first-timers accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Adult Acute Care • Adult ICU • Adult Outpatient • Abdomen • Abdominal Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) • Abdominal Magnetic resonance venography (MRV) • MR Cardiac with/without Contrast • GE and PACS systems • Brain and spinal imaging • Radiation safety protocols
