Job Title Tech - EMT/Paramedic Eagle River, WI

Key Responsibilities • Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients in critical care settings. • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment, as appropriate. • Perform select clinical duties after demonstration of clinical competency and in accordance with hospital and professional scope of practice. • Identify, intervene, and stabilize the ill or injured patient under the direction, and in collaboration with a physician and/or Registered Nurse. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary groups focused on patient care, utilizing strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.

Required Qualifications • High School graduate and successful completion of an EMS paramedic program. • Minimum experience: One year paramedic experience required; preferred 3 years. • Critical Care experience. • Ventilator experience for transport of intubated patients. • Transport of CPAP/BiPAP – cardiac and vasopressor drip maintenance and titration. • Rapid sequence intubation. • ART line monitoring. • High flow cannula (opti-flow) experience. • Charting system Zoll emsCharts platform training provided. • Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification. • Active Drivers License in good standing. • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, WI CCP, and Endorsement certifications. • Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required if Wisconsin based, or valid Michigan Driver’s License required if Michigan based.

Preferred Experience / Skills • MI Paramedic Certification (if candidate has had NREMT-P, is eligible for reciprocity to obtain MI Paramedic licensure). • Possession of CPR certification.
