Job Title: Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist Location Mauston, WI Schedule / Job Type Full-time Key Responsibilities • Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to enhance patient communication and swallowing safety. • Complete patient documentation, including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports. • Contact insurance companies regarding benefits and prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions. • Educate staff on patient results and recommendations, providing guidance based on the most up-to-date research. • Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide patient-centered treatment. • Clean treatment rooms following sessions and provide reminder calls to patients. • Aid patients and families in navigating the hospital. • Perform other duties as requested.
