Tech Nuclear Medicine
Job Title: Tech - Nuclear Medicine Location Elizabethtown, KY Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities: • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging studies and treatments, using specialized equipment such as GE, Phillips, and Siemens machines. • Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration. • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. • Follow established protocols and guidelines for patient safety and radiation protection. • Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedure results, and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine technology • Current BLS certification • Current Kentucky licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Ky)
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with GE, Phillips, and Siemens nuclear medicine equipment • Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
