Job Title: Tech - Sterile Processing Tech Location: Springfield, IL Schedule / Job Type: Mids
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and package medical instruments and equipment for sterilization and distribution • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of sterile processing equipment and supplies • Maintain accurate records of instrument processing, including sterilization dates and inventory levels • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of sterile supplies
Required Qualifications: • IAHCSMM/HSPA certification • Minimum 5 years of experience in sterile processing
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with Cerner charting system • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines for sterile processing
