Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location Dixon, CA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, contract (.5 FTE), 20 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students with "consult only" designations on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to identify areas of need and develop strategies for support. • Provide recommendations to teachers and other support staff to inform instruction and accommodations. • Develop and implement individualized plans to address student needs and promote academic and functional success. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT, MS, or OTD) from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California. • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist, if applicable.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working with students with IEPs and other special education populations. • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
