Tech Surgical
Job Title: Tech - Surgical
Location: Charleston, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of sterile fields, equipment, and supplies in the operating room • Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols • Restock and organize operating room supplies and materials as needed • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe operating room operations • Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Radiation badge • NBSTSA certification (MUSC does not accept NCCT) • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience in a surgical or hospital setting • Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
