Key Responsibilities: • Assess and treat patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses to promote mobility, strength, and function. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and equipment usage. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive patient management. • Educate patients and caregivers on proper techniques, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to achieve optimal outcomes.
Required Qualifications: • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of West Virginia. • Certification in specialty areas, such as orthopedics or pediatrics, is a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, such as stroke or spinal cord injury. • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current research in physical therapy. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
