Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical/tele unit setting • Conduct observations and assessments of patients with various medical conditions, including respiratory issues, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative care, and end-of-life care • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with diabetes, surgical patients, and other complex medical needs • Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) to document patient information and communicate with healthcare team members • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Required Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or tele nursing • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to pass an EKG exam during onboarding • Strong observation and assessment skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience as a Charge RN • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system • Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory issues and surgical patients
