Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown Location Asheville, NC Schedule / Job Type Full-time

Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill and post-surgical patients in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown setting. • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes. • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses. • Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

Required Qualifications: • Current RN licensure in the state of NC • ACLS and BLS certification • Stepdown experience • Telemetry experience • Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year • CVICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Prior IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience • Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation • Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
