Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Location Asheville, NC Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient outcomes • Utilize advanced skills and knowledge to perform various medical procedures • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Required Qualifications • 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting • Teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED • Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC
Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous HCA experience preferred • 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED
