Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Therapist

Location Belen, NM

Schedule: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop treatment plans for patients to improve their daily living skills and functional abilities. • Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and therapies, to help patients achieve their goals. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care. • Adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities. • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper techniques, strategies, and safety precautions to promote independence and self-sufficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Mexico. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations. • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
