Job Title Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Nashville, TN

Schedule / Job Type Nights

Key Responsibilities • Perform basic patient assessments and general care, including wound, tracheostomy, ostomy, drain, and chest tube maintenance • Provide high-quality patient care, focusing on listening and responsiveness • Participate in bedside shift reports, safety checks, and other unit-specific requirements • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications • BLS certification • NIHSS certification • Ability to perform basic patient assessments and general care • Familiarity with basic equipment, including Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, and Broda Chairs

Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with wound, tracheostomy, ostomy, drain, and chest tube care • Knowledge of post-operative procedures, including amputations and ostomy • Familiarity with medication scanning, including controlled substances
