Key Responsibilities • Perform interventional radiology (IR) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. • Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results through proper technique, equipment operation, and patient care. • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement IR procedures and protocols. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and imaging reports.
Required Qualifications • Grad of an Accredited Program • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification or registration • Certification in one of the following within two (2) years of hire date: ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), or ARTT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV) • BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
Preferred Experience / Skills • Extensive experience in IR • Experience with special procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, or embolization • Familiarity with image-guided interventions and fluoroscopy equipment
