Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Canton, GA

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of medical surgical patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress to ensure continuity of care. • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information, update records, and communicate with healthcare teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical specialty. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) assessment skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in an acute med unit or general med setting. • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements. • Knowledge of medical surgical procedures and diagnoses.
