Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced hospital environment. • Conduct pulmonary function tests, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions to improve patient outcomes. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Monitor and interpret patient data, including vital signs, lab results, and imaging studies. • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, disease management, and self-care strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• NBRC RRT certification • BLS certification • ACLS certification • NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) certification • At least 2 years of adult critical care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in cardiovascular ICU, post-op cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgery patients • Knowledge of temporary mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, IABP, and Impella • Experience with complex cardiology patients, post cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, decompensated heart failure • Familiarity with Epic charting system
