Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician - Evans, GA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to students with disabilities in a school setting, implementing behavioral interventions and monitoring progress. • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and maintain effective behavioral plans for students. • Model social skills instruction and assist in classroom management and climate development. • Work with students and teachers to develop Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plans, and Positive Behavior Support Plans. • Act as liaison between outside agencies and school personnel. • Assist with staff development and implementation of behavioral programs. • Communicate effectively with parents, staff members, and administrators regarding Special Education Services.
Required Qualifications:
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification • Bachelor's degree in special education or related field • At least 3 years of experience in teaching or supporting students with disabilities • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing special education • Understanding of various interventions and assessments for students with disabilities
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with Assistive Technology, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans • Knowledge of statewide assessments and progress monitoring data analysis • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
