Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Required Qualifications • 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting • Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume ED • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
