Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Assess, evaluate, and manage patients with a variety of medical conditions, including trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient progress in electronic medical records • Participate in code blue responses, trauma team activations, and other high-acuity situations

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to coach and give feedback in real-time

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits) • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and ability to learn new systems quickly • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
